Coaching, Creativity, and Client Care: How Invalesco Advisors Shine

When it comes to building a successful real estate career, growth doesn’t just happen — it’s nurtured through creativity, accountability, and the right support. At Invalesco Real Estate, coaching plays a central role in helping advisors build strong businesses while staying authentic to who they are.

This summer, that culture of support took center stage in the “Baby You’re a Firework” Contest, a July-themed challenge designed by Invalesco coach Melissa Cruz. Advisors earned points by delivering creative pop-bys to clients, hosting Facebook Lives, and generating client shoutouts on social media. The goal was simple: give advisors a fun, low-pressure way to connect with their communities while sharpening their marketing skills.

The contest winner, Crystalle Guss, turned an initial moment of uncertainty into an imaginative client experience. “I didn’t know what I was gonna do,” she admitted. So, she did what many great entrepreneurs do — she went exploring. A quick trip to the Dollar Tree turned into inspiration when she discovered whimsical summer gnomes: one holding a surfboard, another wearing a pool float. From there, an idea was born. Crystalle attached handmade cards reading “No-body is more important than my past clients” to each gnome. To encourage engagement, she added a QR code linking to her social media and invited clients to post a photo or send it directly to her. The cost was minimal — just $22 for 18 gnomes — but the impact was huge. Her clients loved the gesture, showing up for her with enthusiastic shoutouts on social media. By the end of the contest, Crystalle had earned nearly 80 points and the admiration of her colleagues. “My clients really showed up for me,” she said, reflecting on the power of simple, creative touches in building lasting relationships.

Behind the contest was Invalesco coach Melissa Cruz, whose mentorship is rooted in helping advisors think differently about client engagement. “This wasn’t just about July-themed gifts,” Melissa explained. “It was about giving our advisors the chance to be creative, to connect, and to grow their confidence in marketing themselves.” Through programs like these, Melissa equips advisors with tools they can carry far beyond the contest — from sharpening their social media presence to building stronger client relationships. The result is a culture where advisors feel both supported and empowered to take risks and try new strategies.

At Invalesco, contests like “Baby You’re a Firework” are more than fun challenges — they reflect a deeper philosophy. Advisors aren’t left to figure it all out on their own. Instead, they’re given coaching, accountability, and opportunities to experiment in an environment that celebrates their individuality and creativity.

Crystalle’s story is proof of how that culture pays off: a small investment of time and imagination became a powerful client touchpoint, and a reminder of what’s possible with the right support. For real estate professionals searching for a brokerage that values innovation, collaboration, and growth, Invalesco Real Estate offers more than a place to work — it offers a place to thrive.
