Gilda Zaragoza

Principal | Managing Broker

Gilda Zaragoze likes to tear things down and build them back up. For a living. We’re talking about houses. 

Building. Buying. Selling. Dealing. Investing. The whole package.  

Gilda is fast becoming an influencer in the Denver Real Estate market and is working on developing an amazing team of individuals who share her enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit 
and vision. 

Gilda didn’t set out to be in the Real Estate Industry. 

After graduating from New York University(NYU) she went to work in the world of high finance for BlackRock. 

While she excelled in the Management Group working with Institutional and International investors, her heart just wasn’t in it. But she did take her love for numbers with her when she left. 

Gilda wanted to be part of something more tangible, and she found her passion in Real Estate.

She enrolled in the University of Denver(DU) for her graduate studies earning her MS in Real Estate and Construction Management. During her studies she did her first “scrape” – turning an old home into a magnificent, modern duplex and hasn’t looked back since.

She has created a niche for Invalesco as a “Development and Realty Boutique.” 

Gilda is on the founding board of the Young Leaders Council of the Metro Denver Home Building Association. She is also a Certified New Homes Sales Professional. 

Angela Olthoff

Advisor & Project Coordinator | Real Estate Advisor

Angela is the Offfice Manager at Invalesco Real Estate helping to establish and grow our core Realty team.  She is excited to be part of this innovative firm and brings first-hand knowledge from her personal Real Estate investments.  

Angela's fascination with homes and architecture began when she was a young girl growing up in Southern California. She was both mesmerized and amazed by the wonderful variety of architectural designs that surrounded her – the creativity, detail and innate passion made quite an impact. 

Angela entered the corporate world after graduating Cum Laude from Azusa Pacific University. Her first position was as a Technical Recruiter/Sales Manager for Aerotek.

After living in Southern California for 16 years, Angela decided it was time for a change.

In Denver she pursued a career in Education, receiving her teaching license in Secondary Social Studies Education, and eventually earning her Master’s in Education Literacy.   After teaching for 7 years, Angela left teaching to spend more time with her daughter. 

It was at this point when her early interest in Architecture came full circle.  After four years of hard work – and the help of her business partners – her husband and father – she has completed two Fix and Flips, started a new build, and joined Invalesco Real Estate in 2018 as Office Manager and Real Estate Advisor. 

Jeff Cornelius

Director of Communications

As Director of Communications, Jeff Cornelius ensures that all the innovative things we do at Invalesco Real Estate reach a wide audience and that our Advisors have best-in-class assets to help market their properties and themselves. 

Jeff’s love of real estate and architecture began at a young age with a huge bin of LEGOs. Upon realizing his love for architecture did not necessarily transfer to the skills for architecture, Jeff majored in Advertising /Communications at the University of Texas in Austin.

After visiting Colorado for the first time in the summer of 1994, Jeff fell in love with its mountains, micro-brews and adventurous spirit and moved here in 1995. Jeff’s marketing career began at Karsh & Hagan Advertising and has included stints working for Ringling Bros. Circus, Disney on Ice, Radio City Entertainment, CBS4 and as a partner in another successful Denver communications agency for many years.

Jeff is also an active real estate investor and developer, having flipped homes, renovated two of his own residences and partnered in two commercial mixed-use developments in RiNo. In 2017 Jeff started his own marketing consulting agency to focus on industries he is passionate about: real estate, health & wellness, and sustainability. Jeff serves on the board of VOC, Colorado’s leading statewide stewardship organization, and is inspired by Invalesco’s collaborative mission. We truly are Stronger Together.

Angie Sudberry

Builder/Developer Liaison

ANGIE SUDBERRY is the Builder/Developer Liaison at Invalesco Real Estate. She serves as the sales team leader servicing our builder and developer client relationships from land acquisition to the sale of spec homes and homebuyer customer service thereafter.

She is a native of Colorado and lives with her family in South East Denver. Angie’s passion for Real Estate began in High School, where she found herself taking photos of homes and yardscapes. She soon realized her desire to work in the real estate industry. Helping people comes naturally to Angie, making her transition into Real Estate an easy one. Angie has been a full service real estate broker since 1994 and has progressed through the varying market cycles since then, deepening her knowledge of the real estate industry with every challenge that came her way.    Navigating through the many facets of the industry, Angie enjoyed advising and advocating for the first-time homebuyer every step of the way. As she managed fix and flip projects for her clients, she gained firsthand knowledge of budgets, construction, and deadlines.  

Angie thrived working through foreclosures & short sales during the down time and was well positioned to help investors build their real estate portfolios as the market flourished soon after.  She brings a wealth knowledge and enthusiasm to our growing team.

Kim Bontrager

Team Development

KIM BONTRAGER  is head of Team Development at Invalesco Real Estate. In this role, Kim identifies and fosters relationships with Advisors that embody Invalesco’s core values of expertise and collaboration. Additionally, Kim designs a robust and enriching education and event curriculum for our team that is ever-evolving. Through this program, our Advisors stay at the forefront of the Real Estate industry.

Since 2005, Kim Bontrager has been working in sales, consulting, and business development in the Real Estate, Title Insurance, and Financial Services Industry.  Her designations over the past 13 years include licenses for her Series 6, Series 63, Life Insurance, Title Insurance, Real Estate, and Notary. While earning these designations over the years, she also worked in inside sales, outside sales, in a virtual sales role, as well as held key roles in networking and professional groups.

Her extensive training in sales includes working with and consulting hundreds of professionals in the real estate, lending, banking, and the financial services industry. Kim has a dynamic outlook and perspective for best practices in business through real world experiences.  She brings this expertise to Invalesco to establish our core team and provide them the correct tools to continue to thrive.
